Enjoying the things that God has to offer

I adore spending my days off delighting in the natural springs that surround the Austin area. Today I chose to do so at Krause Springs in Spicewood, Tx. I had a fantastic day enjoying the beauty that God has to offer. My friend Marisa fortunately had the day off and invited her friend Minh.

We weren't that impressed at first sight. There were too many people in the 68 degree, spring-water pool and there wasn't too much water in the natural springs, but we dove in anyway. Well worth it! The water felt incredible, and after spending some time sitting under the pretty little waterfall, I insisted that we each take a turn on the rope swing--I went twice, but called an end to that area when a fish nipped at my toe!

We spent the last bit of our stay jumping in the super cold pool trying to capture the perfect pictures. That may have been my favorite part. The excitement of jumping into an 8ft deep pool, the rush as the cold water covers our sun-kissed skin, only to get back out into the 95 degree heat to do it all over again. It was exhilarating!

After we sun-dried, we took a quick wonder around the "butterfly garden."It was super quant and filled with beautiful, giant wind chimes and so many different types of flowers. I took in as much as I could before I was dragged away to head home.

I love being outdoors! My new goal this summer is to explore as many springs, lakes, rivers and campsites that surround Austin as I can. I want to take in as much as possible and experience all that I can.

Tell me if you know of any places that I must explore.

Love and light.
